We are glad to announce the release of the next version of our music collection software - Melomania 1.62. You can download this version from Melomania download page.

In this version we have implemented new facilities for scanning audio files, as well as have fixed some bugs concerning scanning files with corrupted or improper tags. Furthermore we have added Ukrainian and Czech localizations to the installation package (thanks to the people who translated Melomania). At present Melomania is translated into 10 languages (except for English): German, French, Danish, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Russian, and Ukrainian. You still have an opportunity to expand this list and get a license for Melomania absolutely for free.

What's new in Melomania 1.62?

Ukrainian and Czech localizations have been added.
Media Scanner: a possibility of reading track information from file names and folder structure instead of tags has been added. You can specify the template for that on the Scanning page of the Options window (Tools | Options... | Scanning).
Processing ID3v2 tags containing national characters saved from non-Unicode programs (such as Winamp 5.2 or lower) has been implemented.
Media Scanner might work improperly when scanning files with corrupted tags. We've fixed it.
Several small improvements have been made and minor bugs have been fixed.
