We are happy to announce the release of IM Collector 1.05, the next version of our software for music collectors. This version of IM Collector is available for free download at IM Collector download page.

What's new in IM Collector 1.05?

• We have updated the example collection included into installation package with some new information. In particular, the new album by Franz Ferdinand called You Could Have It So Much Better was added to the collection. This album was released on October 3, on the day we released our IM Collector 1.0, and, of course, we just couldn't ignore such an event.
• Media Scanner: added a possibility to choose a collection for saving scanning results. Use the corresponding combo box in the Target navigation group for this purpose.
• The Scan CD-ROM drives toolbar button can be used for scanning audio CDs now. Earlier it could be used for scanning CD-ROMs only.
• Collection Properties: context menu of the Lent Items list provides you with functions for changing status of lent media quickly.
• The Encoder property of a track became changeable. However, IM Collector still attempts to determine the property value for each track during the scanning process.
• The Play function processes tracks in the same order as they were previously selected in Navigator.
• Fixed bug concerning impossibility to remove characters from the Quick Search entry using the Del key.
• Filters that contain conditions by date did not work property. Now they do.
• Media Scanner did not save some album properties in some rare cases.
• Fixed bug concerning saving the program options using the Apply button in the Options window.
• Several small improvements have been made and minor bugs have been fixed.
