We are happy to announce the release of IM Collector 1.35, the next version of handy music organizer for Windows. The latest version of IM Collector is always available at IM Collector download page.

What's new in IM Collector 1.35?

Portable item profiles: we have implemented a feature that allows you to save the properties of an album or an artist into external file with the possibility to load them back into the same or another music database later. Such portable profiles contain all the major properties of items, such as album name, release date, CD cover, track list, etc. for albums; or artist name, birth date, photo, biography, etc. for artists. Using this feature you can easily exchange information of your music collection contents with your friends and relatives. Save and load functions are available through the Profile submenu of the item context menu.
Two new reports are added to the Report Wizard. Now you can print the contents of your music collection grouped by your rating of albums, and print the list of duplicate tracks presented in your collection. If you need any report that is not yet implemented in our software, feel free to suggest it to us.
Associate Album Wizard: a possibility to view file details is added. Details contain tag information as well as general file properties, such as format and size. Use the File Details... item from the context menu of the file list to display them on the screen.
A possibility to add collection shortcut to desktop is implemented. This function is available through the context menu of the collection node in the object tree.
We have added the Grouping submenu to the context menu of the object tree. This provides you with one more easy way to change the current grouping of the object tree.
Copy Tracks Wizard: the grouping options are available even when only several album tracks are selected for copying.
Navigator: if renaming an item causes an error, the item remains in the editing state.
IM Collector didn't show message if there wasn't disk space enough to perform the Save As operation for a collection. Now it does.
Navigator: in some cases, a multiple selection of artists didn't show the proper value of a country in artist details. It is fixed now.
Several small improvements have been made and minor bugs have been fixed.
