We are happy to announce the release of IM Collector 1.4, the next version of handy music organizer for Windows. The latest version of IM Collector is always available at IM Collector download page.

What's new in IM Collector 1.4?

MPEG 4 support: M4A and MP4 files are supported by our application now. IM Collector reads tags from audio files automatically, so in most cases you will not even need to type such information as song title or artist name for a track after adding it to your music collection. The full list of media formats currently supported can be viewed in the feature matrix.
We have revised the layout of toolbars and navigation bars in order to improve the usability of the application. All the rarely used buttons and links are hidden by default now. However, you can alter the layout of toolbars through the View | Toolbars | Customize... menu item.
We keep improving the portable item profiles, the feature that allows you to exchange information from your music collection with your friends and relatives. Now you can send the complete album profile by email right from IM Collector using the Profile | Email... item of the album context menu.
Navigator: each column in the Details view mode can be sorted by clicking on its header. This feature is also available in Basket and Search Results.
Navigator: jump to the associated medium is implemented. This feature allows you to switch from selected album to the Storage Media view with the appropriate medium highlighted in the list.
Associate Album Wizard: a possibility to view track details is implemented on the step of associating tracks with files. This feature is available through the context menu of a track.
If you do not want tracks to start playing on double clicks, you can change this behaviour by the corresponding option of the Tools | Options... | Behaviour group.
The Properties window for the selected object can be shown by pressing shortcut Alt+Enter.
Media Scanner: the root of the folder selection was ignored by scanning in some rare cases. This bug is fixed now.
Fixed bug concerning improper window bar location after hiding and showing it again.
The results of HTML export were opened incorrectly in Mozilla Firefox. Now it is fixed.
Several small improvements have been made and minor bugs have been fixed.
