We are happy to announce the release of IM Collector 1.42, the next version of handy music organizer for Windows. The latest version of IM Collector is always available at IM Collector download page.

What's new in IM Collector 1.42?

  • Now you can unite two items displayed in the object tree or Navigator by renaming one of them. For example, if your collection contains two instances of the same artist named "Rolling Stones" and "The Rolling Stones", you can simply rename the first one to "The Rolling Stones" to make them united.
  • You can change the location of any folder in the Storage Media view mode using the corresponding item of the folder context menu. This function allows you to correct the location of your music files quickly if they were moved to another folder or medium.
  • Drag-and-drop abilities allow you to unite sibling items without expanding the destination node in the object tree.
  • In some cases, portable item profiles were loaded incompletely by using the context menu of the object tree. We have fixed this bug.
  • Fixed bug concerning fallouts of the Select All and Invert Selection items from the main menu in some rare cases.
  • The values of track duration might be read improperly from portable item profile because of the decimal separator settings. Now it is fixed.
  • Fixed some visual bugs appeared during drag-and-drop operations in Media Scanner.
  • Several small improvements have been made and minor bugs have been fixed.
