We're glad to announce that the long-expected IM Collector 1.45 has been released today and is available at IM Collector download page. During the developing this version we swerved a little from our plans and took an additional time to fulfill the wishes of IM Collector users, as well as to fix some bugs that we couldn't reproduce earlier. Because of this fact we have delayed the release of version 1.45 for a week, but we're sure it is worth while.

We would like to thank everyone who carried on a dialogue with us, and thus assisted in improving our software. Also we tender special thanks to Allan Marriott, who was of considerable assistance to us in solving several complicated questions regarding our software. What's new in IM Collector 1.45?

• Navigator: layout of the top information panel became customizable. You can define your own set of properties that you would like to see as information about an artist, album, label, or medium at the top of Navigator.
• We have implemented another way of grouping the object tree - by album rating. Such grouping may be convenient for you in case of intention to view all the albums that made the most favorable impression on you, or to view the albums, which are left unrated by you for some reason. This feature is implemented in usual handy manner, so the grouping can be applied to the object tree in a couple of clicks (View | Album Grouping | Customize...).
• Sometimes it appears that the complex grouping of the object tree contains the nodes with a caption <Unknown>. This happens because the corresponding properties, such as genre or release year, are not specified for a particular album. Now you can specify such empty properties by simple renaming the <Unknown> nodes.
• Media Scanner supports the reading of mp3 tags stored as Unicode (in particular, mp3s tagged with iTunes).
• Media Scanner: fixed bug concerning the error appeared during the saving of really huge set of tracks into a collection at once. If you came across such error appearance after scanning your HDD, then you've got really huge collection of music, and we recommend you to update your version of IM Collector as soon as possible.
• Fixed bug concerning the program hang-ups during the scanning of some special ogg files.
• The track copying process didn't show any message in case of the lack of free space on destination medium. Now the appropriate message box appears each time the Copy Tracks Wizard determines the lack of free space on destination disk.
• Drag-and-drop operations didn't work properly in the Columns lists of the Details window (Options | Details...). We have fixed this bug.
• Media Scanner: a flag didn't appear properly after changing the country value for an artist in the Details navigation group.
• Internet Finder: the reviews came from AMG didn't contain spaces between some words. Now it is fixed.
• Several small improvements have been made and minor bugs have been fixed.
