We are glad to announce the next release of our music organizer software - Melomania 1.55, which can be found, as usual, at Melomania download page.

We have implemented the support of multilingual user interface in Melomania, and now our music organizer can be translated to any language. All necessary text lines for translation are gathered in a localization template, which should be translated, renamed and copied to the Languages subdirectory of Melomania root directory. Everything is simple enough, especially if you know any other language except for English ;).

We have prepared Russian localization already, but not many of Melomania users know Russian well, so we intend not to stop on this and to translate the music organizer to as many languages as possible. Thus we have a favour to ask of you: if you or some of your friends can help us with the translation of Melomania to other languages, then please contact us.

From our part we're going to provide everyone who'll translate Melomania with a free copy of our music organizer.

What's new in Melomania 1.55?

• Multilingual support: this feature is worth enough to be mentioned of once again :). The language of the user interface can be switched with the items of the Tools | Languages menu.
• Navigator: column widths and current sorting mode are saved with settings for each item type. Every time you change a column width or click on its header, Navigator saves the column state until you decide to change it once again. This feature is also available in Basket and Search Results.
• In addition to previous feature: the columns layout can be customized quickly with the context menu of a column header. Right-click on a column header to evoke the customization menu. Also you can drag-and-drop column headers to change their position.
• Media Scanner: the process of scan results saving is simplified. If some data conflicts occur, alert message will appear before the saving process. If you want to view the list of conflicts, click on "Yes." If you select "No", Media Scanner resolves all those conflicts automatically and saves the results to the music database without any further interruptions.
• Navigator displays the information panel with properties of current medium on any level of files and folders.
• After adding a new album using the Add New Album window, Navigator highlights the corresponding item in the list. This is especially handy if your music collection is very large.
• Export as web pages: we have renewed the IMCollector.com theme in accordance with a new design of our website.
• Export contents to HTML: the color scheme of a page generated with the Export contents function is also renewed and is looking better now.
• HTML Export Wizard: for better convenience, all items are selected by default on the step of items choosing.
• File Properties: a file icon wasn't displayed in the left-top corner of this window. It is fixed now.
• Navigator: fixed bug concerning moving a column to the first position of the item list. In such a case, moved column completely replicated the contents of the Name column instead of its own values.
• Navigator: if duration of a track exceeded an hour, the Duration column didn't display hours at all - only minutes and seconds were displayed. We've fixed it.
• Clicking on Cancel in the window of cover download progress didn't interrupt the process in some cases. Now it is fixed.
• Several small improvements have been made and minor bugs have been fixed.
