Don't Tread on Me (2005)311Rock This is my first time listening to an interesting american band 311, which performs a kind of alternative rock with perceptible reggae influences on this album. The title track "Don't Tread on Me", in fact, is almost reggae, but the one performed with a harder sound, which, however, doesn't contain any overdriven elements. Other tracks are also remind of reggae, and only fifth track "Solar Flare" represents a kind of rap & rock mix, which sounds a bit agressively against the rest of the album. In my opinion, this album may be interesting to anyone who likes merry alternative music. Personally I consider this album excellent for listening to in headphones as background music during the working time. |
