"Music Detected" is an unexpected turn in creative work of this band. Samples are gone to the background, and forefront is made of lyrics and "live" instruments here. This is a melodic and light album, which brings only positive emotions. If earlier Deep Forest were generally directed to the West, "Music Detected" became an album that has expanded musical bounds of the band to the entire world. This album contains sounds of instruments from four different sides of the globe as well as vocals of four performers (Beverly, Angela, Anggun and Chitose) whose voices interflow in ideal harmony. "Music Detected" is a maelstrom of the positive energy in combination with talents of Eric Mouquet and Michel Sanchez - two dreamers whose music fascinates me with rhythms of Utopia.
