Second Wind (1988)Pierre Moerlen's GongProgressive Rock I never listened to Gong before, but I know this is one of the most well-known bands of Canterbury Scene. "Second Wind" is all-instrumental album of lightweight progressive rock with pretty noticeable influences of jazz and funk. Three last tracks of this album are continuous drum solo, which slightly mars the favourable impression. But as a whole this is an interesting album. |
