Wishmaster (2000)NightwishRock This is the third album of the finest opera-style metal band from Finland. Powerful sound of guitar, bass, keyboard and drums combined with the symphonic female vocal of Tarja Turunen. This combination allows Nightwish to create a very melodic, epic and romantic atmosphere with their music. Among my favorites tracks are "She Is My Sin", "Two For Tragedy" and, of course, "Wishmaster". As a whole, this album sounds freshly and originally for the metal realm, and it is one of my favorite albums. |
