The Libertines is one of the most talented British bands today. The self-titled album "The Libertines" is their second studio work. This album demonstrates the internal contradictions between two frontmen - Carl Barat and Peter Doherty: Pete has been kicked out due to using heroin later. Music of The Libertines is very often compared to music of classical British rock'n'roll bands: The Jam, The Kinks, and The Clash. This album sounds easy and pleasantly. All the tracks are catchy, melancholy, and even charming. My favorites tracks on this album are "Can't Stand My Out", "The Man Who Would Be King", and "Campaign of Hate".
